Gran Canaria Sightseeing itinerary

  1. Stop 1: Guayadeque Gran Canaria

Our historical Gran Canaria excursions will begin at Guayadeque, which is popular for its aboriginal culture and the caves made by the island's ancestors. Guayadeque Valley Natural Monument impresses tourists with its wild landscape and steep slopes, but the cave homes made out of lava rock caverns are the main draw here.

Discover the once way of life of the site's aboriginal inhabitants, and then work your way up to discover other attractions. Here you'll find a chapel and various restaurants etched out of the rock formations, which is an interesting sight. If you venture further, you'll see the path toward the Los Marteles volcanic caldera.

  2. Stop 2: Aloe vera plantation in Gran Canaria

You'll then continue exploring the town of Aguimes, which is the Aboriginal Antiquity Settlement. Afterward, you'll head to an aloe vera plantation, which is almost always included in Gran Canaria tours. This is where you'll learn more about the medicinal plant's benefits, and you'll even be taught how to use it during the excursion.

  3. Stop 3: Teror Gran Canarias famous spot

Your next stop is the picturesque village of Teror, which is where you can admire typical Canarian architecture. When trying to come up with a list of what to see in Gran Canaria, make sure you don't miss this, as the village of Teror will amaze you with its laidback vibe and traditional architecture set against an idyllic backdrop of steep slopes and deep valleys.

The traditional houses' authentic wooden balconies are a fascinating sight here, as well as the structures' varying colors which make for interesting photos.

Besides the architecture, you'll love the food here, which you can indulge in via the weekly public market. The old village is also home to a basilica and various parks such as the Parque Rural de Doramas.

  4. Stop 4: Firgas

You continue the tour by heading to Firgas, which is known as the Atlantic Balcony. The town and municipality's Paseo de Gran Canaria will catch your attention with its sloping pedestrian areas built with cascading 30-metre waterfall staircase, which is punctuated with a fountain monument.

  5. Stop 5: Gran Canaria Banana plantation

For your last stop, you travel to a banana plantation where you can enjoy free tasting. Afterward, we'll take you back to your hotel.

Don't miss the wonderful sights the other side of Gran Canaria has to offer with the Gran Canaria Tour Yesterday and Today. Learn about the island's rich history and admire attractive views along the way by making yourGran Canaria booking
